Summary: | The invention relates to thermostabilised mixtures comprising (a) 100 parts by weight of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride or a mixture thereof with PVC, (b) from 0.05 to 3.0 parts by weight, preferably from 0.1 to 1.0 part by weight, of glycidyl ethers of phenol- or cresol-novolak resins having a softening point of >/= 35 DEG C, of the formula (I) where R = H or CH3, n = an integer from 3 to 15, and the epoxide equivalent weight = from 160 to 500, (c) from 0.1 to 5.0 parts by weight of a metal oxide, metal salt or organometallic compound, and (d) from 0 to 5.0 parts by weight of conventional additives, and to the use of the mixtures for thermoplastic conversion into mouldings. |
