Summary: | A torque locking device for the electric drive of the endless chains of a rack cleaner is described. The electric drive consists of an electric motor and a worm gear transmission. The housing of the motor is flange-mounted on the housing of the worm gear transmission, and the housing of the worm gear transmission is rotatably mounted on the output shaft. A torque support is connected to the housing of the worm gear transmission. The torque support is held in a rest position at its free end by a preloading force. If the output torque exceeds a predetermined value, the torque support is deflected from its rest position against the preloading force, whereupon the torque support actuates a switch for the control circuit of the electric drive. |
