Summary:Compounds of the formula (I) in which X is oxygen or NR6, Y is CH or nitrogen, R1 and R2 are hydrogen, halogen, (substituted) alkyl, (substituted) alkenyl, (substituted) alkynyl, OH, (substituted) alk(en)(yn)yloxy, radicals of alkanecarboxylic acids, alkanesulphonic acids, alkanesulphenic acids and alkanesulphinic acids and of their amides, (substituted) phenyl, benzyl, (substituted) hydroxycarbonyl, (substituted) aminocarbonyl, R3 is hydrogen or alkyl, R4 and R5 are hydrogen, (substituted) alkyl or (substituted) alkoxy, halogen, alkylthio, mono- or dialkylamino and their salts have an advantageous herbicidal action against monocotyledon or dicotyledon harmful plants and are therefore suitable for use in large-scale crops. They also have a plant-growth-regulating action.
