Summary: | An outer skin, which is at least partially transparent and at least partially permeable to short-wave solar radiation, is attached to and at a distance in front of a structural wall of a building, and the structural wall is provided, externally, with an absorbent coating, so that solar radiation passing through the outer skin and striking the absorbent coating is converted into long-wave thermal radiation and as a result the interspace between the structural wall and the outer skin is heated up above the ambient temperature. The reflection of the long-wave thermal radiation, produced by the conversion of solar radiation in the region of the absorbent coating, into the interspace can be improved by virtue of the fact that the absorbent coating is provided, externally, with a coating which is transparent and reflects thermal rays. Similarly, the outer skin which is at least partially transparent can be provided, internally, with a coating which permits unhindered passage of solar radiation, but reflects long-wave thermal radiation. |
