Summary:The invention relates to a high-efficiency heat store based on latent-heat storage materials. The store according to the invention can preferably be used in technical processes in which waste heat of a specific temperature arrives continuously or discontinuously. The latent-heat store has a high heat storage capacity, can be simultaneously charged or discharged in conjunction with short charging or discharging times, and cannot be discharged in an uncontrolled fashion. The improvement in heat transport inside the store is achieved by four different material systems as active store filling, and ensures a high overall efficiency of the storage system. The main constituent of the active store filling is latent-heat storage materials tending towards stratification whose negative characteristics are overcome by further material systems.
