Summary:A lens shutter camera includes a distance adjusting mechanism which is operated by the rotation of a single ring in one direction as it is driven by a drive source such as a motor. A distance adjustment is performed by a movement of a movable taking lens barrel in the direction of an optical axis thereof. Rotation of the ring in the other direction operates a lens shutter mechanism to open the shutter blades. A shutter closing spring is charged by a shutter controlling electromagnet, and is enabled to close the shutter blades.
