Summary:The invention relates to an accessory, such as a container or the like, for positively attachment to a bearing tube of a bicycle frame. The attachment takes place by means of two elongate shell components which can be screw-clamped to one another and the attachment floor of which is formed integrally connected by means of the material onto an outer wall of the container and has, inside a bearing hollow which is matched to the outer curvature of the bearing tube, a holding groove for an adhesive, in particular adhesive strips coated on both sides. On both sides of this holder there are support and centring faces on the one hand for the container to rest against the bearing tube in a centred fashion and on the other hand for plugging on the other shell component, the shell bracket, in a centring fashion. A container constructed in this way can be easily attached to the bearing tube and easily prefixed thereto with the aid of the adhesive whilst the final attachment takes place by clamping to the shell bracket. With the arrangement of the screw heads of the attachment screws inside the container, a theft-proof attachment on the bearing tube of a bicycle frame can be carried out. The entire arrangement is aesthetically attractive and permits even large loads to be held securely in particular by virtue of the holding force increased by the adhesive and the possibility of attaching the centre of gravity of the container near to the axis of the bearing tube.
