Summary:The invention relates to an electrically driven, mechanically coupled hollow-shaft drive which is designed for two rotational speeds. The drive comprises a hollow shaft which is mounted in a sliding manner in a housing for performing a longitudinal movement and in which a spindle shaft is rotatably mounted. A first motor is provided which serves to rotate the spindle shaft inside the hollow shaft, while the latter moves in the longitudinal direction inside the housing. Furthermore, the drive comprises a drive element which is rotatably mounted in the housing and is fixed against axial movement. The element surrounds the hollow shaft and is connected to it in a driving manner via cam devices so that the hollow shaft is moved in the longitudinal direction when the drive element rotates. A second motor serves to rotate the drive element. Connecting devices are provided between the armature shaft of the second motor and the first motor so that the first motor can drive the drive element at a low speed. Finally, devices are located on the housing which, in response to a control signal, uncouple the driving connecting devices between the armature shaft of the second motor and the first motor.
