Summary: | The coin checking system is designed to provide a test for both size and weight of the coin. Coins are entered through a funnel section and fall onto the guide track (8) within the checking stage. Coins that are smaller in diameter than the accepted value fall into a reject channel. The back plate (4) has a permanent magnet (3) and a counter unit (2) is supported on a leaf spring (15) fixed to a pivoted lever (5). When the counterpiece is against the magnet a track (8) is formed for the coins. The counter piece moves away to allow coins to fall clear. |
