Summary:The drying drum has drier tubes mounted concentrically round the drum axis and a stationary material feed unit whose spout fits in one rotating with the drum, a seal acting between the spouts. The tubes (3) are extended beyond the end wall (2) of the drum (1), the extended portions each having an opening (8) in the periphery. Pipes (9) connect these openings to others (14) in the drum spout (13). The protruding tube ends can be secured to the drum end wall by elastic devices, and the pipes (9) can each be in two parts (10,11) connected together by an elastic component (12).
