Summary: | The compressed-bale-straw burning installation has a device inside the combustion chamber (9) engaging the bale (10) face to loosen an amount of straw corresponding to a certain heat quantity. Pref. this device is a rotatably-mounted rod (3) wound into a helix with pitch increasing from tip (1) to driven end. Alternatively, the pitch may be constant and a ring-sector shaped bar (2) may project near the tip, at a lesser pitch or perpendicularly to the helix axis, as a counter bearing for the bale. A crossbar at the driven end breaks up the combustion residue or ash. |
