Summary: | The pressure transducer consists of an external cylinder, an isolating disc and a measuring diaphragm. The disc is fitted inside the cylinder and has metallic foil electrodes on the two surfaces. It has a hole in the centre. The diaphragm is contained in a recess in the cylinder. The cylinder (23) has a sealed base (22) of the approximate size of the diaphragm holder (26). The edges of the diaphragm (27) are welded to the holder. There is a supporting disc (42) with a hole at the opposite side of the cylinder. There is also a separating diaphragm (43) with a reference electrode (37). |
