Summary: | The resistance heating unit of the curling tongs comprises a metal oxide layer, preferably of stannic oxide which is evaporated inside the roller body of the curling tong. Since the heat can be fed directly from the steamed-on layer into the material of the winding body the surface of the latter is heated up very evenly. This resistance heating unit requires no additional holder so that the resultant curling tongs are lightweight and easy to handle. The roller body is preferably made of glass. |
