Summary:Filter material for the sepn. of mist, vapour and/or fluid droplets consists of several laminated layers with an intercalation of expanded calcium aluminium silicate, pref. in the form of expanded perlite. The enclosing layers are made of fibre mats and they are joined together and to the intercalation by a needle stapling technique. The filter can absorb up to 30-times its wt. in moisture and it retains it sepn. capacity even after saturation.
