Summary:The drawing head consist of a non-turnable base plate, with a fastened dividing ring, a stop ring disc, and a brake disc. It also has a round grip, a ruler retainer, a bearing disc, and an intermediate plate. All sections form an integral unit, and are rotatably held in a central recess of the stop ring disc. The head also has a fixing brake and a stop unit, each controlled by thumb lever. The bearing disc has recesses along its outer edge, with elastically deformable synthetic inserts. The inserts project radially over the bearing disc edge, and are pressed against the inner edge of the stop ring disc.
