Summary: | The rotor is provided on its lower end with a chamber with a radially deviating surface against which a hose is put during operation. The lower end of the hose extends into a tube-shaped guide element serving for skimming off the washing fluid. The hose is fitted to the lower end of the auxiliary device by which the sample is introduced into the centrifuge in such a way that it is sealed off by a seal fitted on a lid. A second seal is provided towards the rotor. A cartridge projects into the funnel-shaped part of the rotor. The device allows handling of blood samples for processing in a centrifuge in such a way that contamination is eliminated. |
