Summary:The basket for crockery and cutlery is intended for domestic dish washers with sprays inside, especially in the form of rotating spray nozzles. At least some parts of the basket are made of pieces inserted or forming part of it which break up and especially divert the jets before they meet the crockery and cutlery. Some parts of the basket are made of mesh, with the cross-section of the gaps in the mesh smaller than the wire struts holding the cutlery and crockery. The sections for breaking up the jets of liquid can be in the form of mats inserted, or can be conically tapered from the bottom upwards, and made of flexible material such as foam with a sealed flexible coating.
