Wide band 180 degrees phase shifter - has interleaved half and quarter wavelength meanders, using intermediate switching diodes for wavelength mode selection
The phase shifter has conductor lines in planar form, connected in a meandering pattern. The planar form can be microstrip, miscroslot, or a strip line, as in 2653676. The differential phase is formed from the half-wavelength and quarter-wavelength meanders in coupled lines. The half-wavelength and...

Summary: | The phase shifter has conductor lines in planar form, connected in a meandering pattern. The planar form can be microstrip, miscroslot, or a strip line, as in 2653676. The differential phase is formed from the half-wavelength and quarter-wavelength meanders in coupled lines. The half-wavelength and quarter-wave meanders are interleaved. Between the meander strips are fitted switching diodes which provide selective half-wavelength, or quarter-wavelength coupling. In this manner a wide band 180 deg. phase shifter in planar technique can be switched to different wavelengths. |
