Summary:In the prodn. of a woven pile fabric, the pile warps are anchored into the carrier woven fabric on both sides, so that loops are formed on one side, to be cut to form the plush surface, and the cut pile warps are then opened out. The pile warps are firmly bonded into the carrier fabric and the loops are cut through the middle.
