Summary:The fresh air control flap (A) for the bus is hinged in a moulding which enables fresh air from outside the vehicle, or warm air from an internal duct, to be admitted. The flap is sealed on the moulding by a flexible sheet (9) clipped between the flap and the moulding and forming a U-shaped seal when the flap is closed. The sheet seal is clipped into a moulded groove in the rear of the flap. When the flap is closed the sheet is pressed into a U-shape and provides a double seal. This allows the bus to be washed with high pressure water jets without any risk of ingress of water.
