Summary:The lowering device for curtain tracks comprises two guide rods having a thread and handle, two rotatable threaded sleeves, in the curtain track and snap-on closure members in the track and ceiling. The guide rods are rotatably mounted in the sleeve and are fastened to the wall by rotary handles which are prevented from slipping down by means of resilient rings. The curtain track can be lowered by rotating the guide rod whereupon the curtains or blinds can be readily removed and re-fastened without any need for a ladder.
