Summary: | The prefabricated furniture components comprise individual sections (8) of cane rods (16) which are connected together in grid fashion and defined on all sides by connecting rods (9, 10, 11, 12) which are set at right angles to each other. Connecting screws which end in decorative fittings then fit in through the connecting rods to secure the assembled fitment. The inherent flexibility of the rattan material can be used to provide the required effect. The individual cane rods (16) are preferably connected together and to the connecting rods by slightly resilient bands (17), preferably made of leather. |
