Summary: | Protective coating for building elements contain ferro-Si and/or Si oxide pref. of a smoke-like constitution and produced during the mfr. of (ferro)Si electrochemically. As a further filler the coating also contains boryl phosphate, and/or B nitride, urea, alumina, or fused alumina, cement, and/or Fe dust, pref. as the oxide and derived from steel mfr. The coating also contains conventional heavy metal oxides and coffee wax derived from coffee mfr. The coating is resistant to mud and heat and in the case of ship building elements deters mussels from becoming attached. |
