Summary: | The switch actuator consists of a display band wound on a reel and moved past a display window under the control of a drive mechanism on to a similar reel beyond the window. The drive to this is via a chain and turns an adjusting spindle via suitable gearing. The switch actuator is mounted on the adjusting spindle. The actuator consists of an outer spacing (30) through which the spindle passes via threaded holes. An inner element (28) is mounted on an axis (29) perpendicular to the spindle so that it can move angularly about this between two positions defined by adjustable end stops. A guide (50) prevents this arrangement turning with the spindle. Th inner element (28) has a shaped front end (37) which is used as the switch. |
