Summary:The jib (1) is mounted on a shaft in a fork-shaped support in a lattice-work frame, and the moment represented by the load (12) and its horizontal distance form the slewing bearing is transmitted by a linkage to the shaft of the support. This is coupled by means of a mounting (22) to the vertical slewing shaft. The linkage can comprises a screwed sleeve moved by a screwed spindle, rotating with a cradle-shaped shaft in the support. This can be secured to the mounting by stepped rings secured to it and the mounting tube, being simply inserted in the bearing shaft.
