Summary:Multiple cell holder contains several individual cells which are connected together at one end by a connecting piece which is adapted to the cell spacing and which has notches. Pref. the cells are rectangular, and the connecting piece consists of webs extending between the upper ends of adjacent cells, with the notches at the points of attachment of the webs to the cells. The cells may be made of polystyrene or acrylic resin. The connecting webs extend perpendicularly to the direction of irradiation of the cells. The whole assembly can be divided up into individual cells or groups of any number of cells.
