Summary:The support mechanism is used for tables which are rotated from a stowage position into a horizontal position. This mechanism is used for box shaped tables and for kitchen cabinets. In the stowed position the table panel forms a vertical wall of the furniture and in the extended position it acts as a horizontal table capable of carrying a load such as the weight of a domestic appliance. The table top panel has metal rails on the ends of which is welded a shaft whose ends carry rollers. These rollers rvel in parallel guide rails which are curved at their lower ends and which become vertical in their upper part. Spring loaded clamps are provided at the upper ends of these rails for locking the rollers when the table is extended into the horizontal position.
