Summary: | The handgrip is reinforced by a metal strip insert which is flexible and which limits the stretching of the handgrip. The ends of the metal strip are secured on screws which are screwed int the car body. The metal grip is provided with tags and pressing near the screw fitting hole to locate the strip on cut-outs and tags on the body so that lateral forces are effectively absorbed. This stabilises the handgrip and prevents it twisting about the fitting screws, with subsequent loosening. The screw is further secured by metal springs tags. |
