Summary: | Signal recorder in a spiral track is red out by an optical system and converted by a photodetector into an electric signal. Two drives are provided, one for the disc and the other, designed as a servomotor, for the scanning system movement. The electric signal passes through an amplifying and coding stage, and is applied an f.m. demodulator to a stage delivering the video signal and also deriving a synchronisation pulse as reference signal for the servomotor. Signals delivered by the magnetic head system are applied through an additional equaliser-limiter stage to the f.m. demodulator. A colour picture blanking, composite synchronisation signal is available at the output of the first of the signal delivery stages, and the sound signal at the output of the second. |
