Summary: | Discharge cooler is for a rotary kiln for burning or sintering dolomite magnesite cement clinker, with a stationary cooling shaft with supports for the cooling column on the crusher rollers mounted independently on the cooler floor in a common frame. It has cooling air fed in beneath and/or above the rollers, fluidising at least the smallest particles in the upper region of the column, as in 2252524. The cooler floor has conical or pyramidal projections with air outlet openings; these projections are rotatable, and preferably are divided into individual annular zones, with the zones independently rotatable and each with a separate air feed duct. The inner central region is sufficiently supplied with cooling air. |
