Summary:Pigmented synthetic resin comprising a homogeneous mixt. (A) of polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polycarbonate, polyamide or acrylnitrile-butadiene styrene resin with an effective amt. of a compatible resin dye (B) and at least one cpd. (C) of the following formulae: and CH2O(C3H6O)l (C2H4O)pX CHO (C3H6O)m (C2H4O)qX CH2O(C3H6O)n (C2H4O)rX where X = hydrogen, SO3H, SO3Na or SO3K; L, m, n are whole numbers the sum of which lies between 3-100; p, q, r are 0 or a number at least 1, the sum of which lies between 0-50. Component C is present in such volumes that the average particle size of component B cannot be maintained larger than 10 mu.
