Summary:A metal bellows (10) has a length that is more than twice its inside dia. It is provided with an internal support tube (13) in order to prevent lateral sagging. The ends, which are soldered to the internal tube (14, 15) are free of corrugations (11). The central section of the bellows is provided with a short cylindrical length (20) whose internal dia. is slightly less than the inside dia. of the bellows corrugation (12). It acts as a bearing sleeve on the support tube, and thus protects the corrugation from wear.
