Summary:A composite film having a flexible heat-resistant base layer, a heat softenable pressure formable adherent intermediate layer, and a conformable upper layer of a magnetic powder oxide dispersed in a non-magnetic binder. The film can be permanently embossed in its upper surface upon pressure contact with a suitable heated die to provide thereon a guide pattern such as a spiral groove, and is thereafter useful as a sound disc.
