Summary:The burner disclosed in the parent patent, designed for the combustion of a ternary emulsion of a combustible liq e.g. refinery effluents, a carburetting gas i.e. combustion-supporting gas such as air, and an additional liq. fluid, e.g. water, and comprising a main body with a central tube for the supply of the fuel with a central nozzle into which an axially adjustable needle valve penetrates and delimits an emulsion chamber just upstream of the nozzle orifice, is improved whereby the body is provided with an external envelope defining a separate entry zone for the two other constituents of the emulsion communicating with the nozzle chamber by uniformly distributed longitudinal channels in the main body, concentric with the axis of the needle valve spindle.
