1348365 Pesticidal 2-chlorovinylthionophosphoric acid amides BAYER AG 3 July 1972 [3 July 1971 14 Aug 1971] 30956/72 Heading C2P Novel compounds of Formula I where R is C 1-16 alkyl, alkoxyalkyl with 1 to 6 C in each alkyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkyl-alkyl, cycloalkenyl-alkyl, aryl, alkaryl, aralkyl, cyanoalkyl or haloalkyl and R 1 and R 2 are hydrogen, aralkyl, C 1-8 alkyl, aryl, cyanoalkyl, C 2-8 alkenyl or alkoxyalkyl, or R 1 and R 2 , together with the N to which they are attached, form a heterocyclic ring, which optionally contains one or more further heteroatoms, may be prepared by reacting O-(2,2.dichlorovinyl)-thionophosphorodichloridate with a compound ROH in the presence of an acid-binding agent, and reacting the monochloridate intermediate, with or without isolation, with an amine HNR 1 R 2 in the presence of an acid-binding agent. O - (2,2 - Dichlorovinyl) - thionophosphorodichloridate may be prepared by reacting phosphorus pentasulphide with O-(2,2-dichlorovinyl)- phosphorodichloridate in phosphorus sulphochloride. The compounds of Formula I have insecticidal, acaricidal and nematocidal properties, and may be used as the active ingredients in conventional pesticidal compositions.
