PCM multi-level transmission system - divides coded signals into groups within frame and marks polarity of groups using front identifiers
The PCM transmission system divides the coded signal being transmitted into groups within each pulse frame. The polarity of the algebraic sum of the levels of all groups transmitted to data and the polarity of the algebraic sum of the levels of the next group to be transmitted are compared. Only whe...

Summary: | The PCM transmission system divides the coded signal being transmitted into groups within each pulse frame. The polarity of the algebraic sum of the levels of all groups transmitted to data and the polarity of the algebraic sum of the levels of the next group to be transmitted are compared. Only when the polarities are the same is the polarity of the next group's sum reversed. A selective identifying digit is sent and identifies the polarity reversal or non-reversal. This identifier is attache to the start of the next group to be sent and has a level equal to the max. positive or negative signal level. |
