Summary:The received signal is compared in a correlation network with the time function generated in an address generator; and a voltage derived from phase comparison is used for control of the oscillator determining the time function cycle. A control circuit detecting autocorrelation peaks responds to the appearance of a first peak and, after a given delay, disconnects a fixed oscillator voltage which accelerates the time function generated in the receiver with respect to the received signal, and connects the correlator control voltage to the oscillator. The time function consists of a periodic alteration of levels corresponding to 0 and 1, with a period corresponding to the transmission frequency.
