Wasch- und Reinigungsmittelformkörper, die sich durch hohe Härte und gleichzeitig kurze Zerfallszeit auszeichnen, lassen sich herstellen, wenn sie Percarbamid enthalten. Hierzu wird das Percarbamid mit anderen Komponenten vermischt und zu Wasch- und Reinigungsmittellformkörpern verpreßt.
