Cell unit for fuel cells
A cell unit for use in fuel cells has: an anode-side plate (3) with two step sections (301,302) forming a pair running parallel to one another which protrudes from a surface of a rectangular base plate to form a recess section (33) for an anode-side chamber 930); a cell 92) with an electrode section...

Summary: | A cell unit for use in fuel cells has: an anode-side plate (3) with two step sections (301,302) forming a pair running parallel to one another which protrudes from a surface of a rectangular base plate to form a recess section (33) for an anode-side chamber 930); a cell 92) with an electrode section (24) with an anode (21) which is designed on a surface of an electrolyte (20) in the form of a plate or a film and a cathode which is designed on the other surface of the electrolyte, the cell being accommodated in the recess section of the anode-side plate so that the anode of the chamber faces the anode-side plate; and a cathode-side plate (4) with a cathode-side chamber (40) which is designed in a surface of a rectangular base plate and accommodated in the recess section of the anode-side plate so that the cathode-side chamber faces the cathode of the cell. The step sections of the anode-side plate each have surfaces that are aligned with the other surface of the cathode-side plate. The cell and the cathode-side plate are accommodated in the recess section of the anode-side plate. |
