XL <= 1411.21 exp(-0.0591 TM ( deg C)) - 0.05 (II) Propene terpolymers with 80-99.5 mol% propene units, 0.1-15 mol% units derived from ethene or a 4-6C 1-olefin (I) and 0.1-15 mol% units derived from a 4-12C 1-olefin (II) other than (I), with a DSC melting point (TM) of below 135 deg C and an average molecular weight (Mw) of more than 80,000, in which the proportion of regioregular '1-2' inserted propene units, as given by formula (I) ('1-2')/(('1-2') + ('2-1') + ('1-3')) (I) is more than 0.99 and the content of xylene-soluble material (XL) (wt.%) is given by formula (II). XL <= 1411.21 exp(-0.0591 TM ( deg C)) - 0.05 (II) Independent claims are also included for: (a) a process for the production of these terpolymers by polymerization of the comonomers in the presence of a metallocene catalyst system comprising (A) an inorganic or organic support, (B) metallocene complex(es) and (C) metallocenium ion-forming compound(s) (but not two different aluminoxanes); and (b) film, fibers, molded products and materials for sealing layers with these terpolymers as essential components.
