A coating powder composition with (A) a carboxy-reactive polymer binder and (B) a carboxy-functional siloxane resin hardener obtained by hydrolysis and condensation of a mixture of a diaryl-dihydroxy- or diaryl-dialkoxy-silane and a silane with 2 or 3 hydroxy or alkoxy groups and a carboxy-functional organic group. A coating powder composition containing (A) a carboxy-reactive binder and (B) a carboxy-functional siloxane resin hardener obtained by hydrolysis and condensation at 0-80 deg C of a mixture of 50-95 mol% organosilane of formula R2SiX2 (I) and 5-50 mol% carboxy-functional silane of formula RSiX3 (II) and/or RR'SiX2 (III), in which R = optionally substituted aryl; R = a carboxy-functional organic group; X = OH or OR'; R', R' = 1-4C alkyl . Die Erfindung betrifft eine Pulverlackzusammensetzung, enthaltend als Binder carboxyreaktive Polymere und als Härter carboxyfunktionelle Siloxanharze sowie gegebenenfalls Zusatzstoffe wie Pigmente und/oder Füllstoffe und/oder Hitzestabilisatoren und/oder Additive wie Verlauf- und Entgasungsmittel, wobei der Härter eine Verbindung ist, die durch Hydrolyse und Kondensation eines Organosilans R¶2¶SiX¶2¶ eines carboxyfunktionalisierten Silans hergestellt wird.
