Summary:A dental material containing a polymerisable binder is such that the filler used is a homogeneous mixture of three portions of filler, the first mixed with an initiator, the second with an activator and the third free of any initiator system components. An Independent claim is included for a novel statistical oligomer based on 2-mercaptoethanol, acrylic acid and glycidyl methacrylate, especially at mol. ratio 1 : 8-12 : 5-40 and with average Mn = 1,000-30,000, this oligomer being used as a binder.
