Summary: | A plastic mounting in the height of the hollow chamber of the two busbars has a cross-bar (12) which is covered on both sides with a metal bar (13,14). The two metal bars are acted upon vertically to the longitudinal direction and to the transverse bar in springing-apart fashion. The transverse bar with the two metal bars, latter ones with sliding contact, intervenes in the hollow chambers. A stretch connector for busbars (1,2) of a sliding conductor following after one another is described where the busbars are assembled from a metal profile (3) with an elongated hollow chamber (4) and a rubbing surface (7) provided between two overhanging profiled flanges (5,6), and also from a plastic profile (8) surrounding the metal profile except for the rubbing surface. The connector consists of a plastic mounting (9) incorporating the assigned ends of the busbars, releasing their rubbing surfaces (7), and in it the two ends of the busbars can slide longitudinally relative to one another between two stops (10,11). The metal profiles of the two busbars are electrically connected together. |
