Summary:A relaxation device has a device (1) to hold the body of the person being relaxed that is vibrated by another device 93) at a frequency that does not exceed 25 hertz. There is a controller (8) for the vibrator which ensures that the maximum acceleration of the vibration does not exceed 0.1G. The vibrator swings the carrier cylindrically in two transverse planes. The maximum acceleration is represented by the maximum angular acceleration. The carrier can move in a direction that corresponds to the vibration direction. The carrier itself is carried on a base (5) so that the head of the person involved follows a curved path.
