Summary:The circuit breaker's switching light arcs are blown by a gas, esp. SF6 gas, which is fed out of the switching chamber via an outlet channel arrangement contg. an outer tube connected to the switching path. Inside the outer tube (12), which contains several radial outflow holes (14-21), is an inner tube (23) which can have several radial holes (28-33). An annular vol. (24) is formed between the inner and outer tubes. A hole plate arrangement (25,37,35) for cooling the flushing gas is arranged inside the inner tube.
