Summary:An electromagnetically controllable multiple way control valve for hydraulic, anti-lock motor vehicle brake systems puts at least one wheel brake (wheel) in fluid communication with a high-pressure source (THZ) or a low pressure reservoir (NDS). To enable the control edge gap (44) to be adjusted, the multiple way control valve is designed such that the first end position of the slide (8, 8') in relation to the cylindrical housing body (2) can be adjusted by varying the position of an axial stop element (46) secured to the tappet (16) or the thickness of at least one spacer (78) arranged between the slide (8') and an axial stop (76).
