Summary:Measurement of irradiation particularly with an ionisation chamber for medical purposes is made with a device in which the output electrode of the electrometer stage is connected to the input of the one active element, a carrier wave two way bridge amplifier is connected to two opposed circuit primary windings. The amplification of the input signal either with a D.C. or an A.C. amplifier is eliminated since the two-way bridge amplifier acts only as a level discriminator.
