Summary: | A new plant growth container comprises a cylindrical, truncated conical or conical, circular section pot with an opening angle of 0-25 deg . In construction, no more than half the length of the cone is cut away, and the container is wholly or partially of materials which rot down in the earth and are ecologically-friendly. These materials are dimensionally-sable in use. Preferably they are fibrous fabric or fleece structures. Flax, hemp, jute, sisal, coco, cane, cotton, wool and/or wood cellulose form suitable composites. The binder is an acrylic- and/or vinyl acetate- and/or starch-based suspension. An olefin copolymer and/or starch may be used. Further structural details are provided. |
