1323120 Acaricidal arylimino-oxazolidines BAYER AG 17 Dec 1970 [17 Dec 1969] 982/73 Divided out of 1323119 Heading A5E [Also in Division C2] A method of combating acarids comprises applying to the acarids or an acarid habitat an N - substitued 2 - arylimino - oxazolidine of formula in which R denotes Cl, Br, F, -CF 3 or an alkyl, alkenyl or alkoxy radical with, in each case, up to 4 carbons; R1 denotes H, Cl, Br, F, alkyl, alkoxy, alkenyl, -CF 3 or -CHF 2 ; R" denotes C 2-7 alkyl, an alkenyl radical with 3-7 carbons which may be substituted at the double bond by at least one Cl or Br atom, or C 3-7 alkynyl; and n is 0, 1 or 2, alone or in admixture with a solid or liquid diluent or carrier. The compounds may be used to protect animals from ectoparasitical acarids.
