Summary: | The circuit includes a capacitor (C1) connected on one side to a common ground (GND) and on the other to a summing node (VO1). The npn reference transistor (Q6) has it's emitter connected to the voltage supply (Vcc) and it's collector is connected to the output of a temperature compensation unit (10). The compensation unit produces a reference current independent of the temperature. The base and the collector are connected to produce a reference node. A pnp current source transistor (I1) is connected between the voltage supply and the node, for charging the capacitor. A second similar transistor (I2) connected between the voltage supply and the node is used for discharging the capacitor. |
